On a scorching day at Eden Gardens, KKR clinched their 4th win of the season by defeating LSG by 8 wickets. After limiting LSG to 161-7 in 20 overs, KKR opener Phil Salt dominated the LSG bowlers and finished the game with 26 balls remaining.

Once again, LSG felt the absence of Mayank Yadav, yet credit for the victory goes to KKR batters Salt and Shreyas Iyer. KKR captain Shreyas Iyer acknowledged the contribution of his bowlers in limiting LSG to an average score.

"When we got wickets, it gave us the advantage to come in and put an attacking effort. Character and attitude bowlers showed was exceptional. Will keep reiterating that it's a funny tournament and have to stay in the present as much as possible. Have to seize the moment and not leave it on someone else."

Earlier, Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first and managed to restrict LSG to below-par total wich was gun down quite easily by KKR.

Overall, Shreyas Iyer's KKR has made a strong comeback after their loss against CSK. With 4 upcoming games of KKR happening at Eden Gardens, KKR has the opportunity to maintain this momentum and secure their playoff spot.
