Shamar Joesph, the debutant for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL, made a stunning entrance into the tournament during the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 28th match of IPL 2024. 

Known for his pace, Joesph unleashed a thunderbolt clocked at an impressive 150.75 kmph, reminiscent of his teammate Mayank Yadav's record-breaking delivery of 156.7 kmph earlier in the tournament.

The 24-year-old pacer announced his arrival in the very first over, targeting KKR opener Phil Salt. Despite a dropped catch by Yash Thakur, later revealed to be a no-ball, Joesph's delivery sent a ripple of excitement through the crowd at Eden Gardens.

Stepping in as a direct replacement for the injured Mayank Yadav, Joesph showcased his potential to be a formidable force in LSG's bowling lineup.
