A major challenge for Australia in the upcoming 'The Ashes 2023' will be the rotation of their fast bowlers. Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood have struggled with injuries recently, and form a crucial cog in Australia's plans to beat England in England after 2001.

The seven-and-a-half-week of grueling action in the middle will surely be rough on the bowlers, and Australian skipper Cummins looks fully prepared for the task at hand. Speaking on the eve of the first Test at Edgbaston, which starts today, Cummins expressed his desire to play all five Ashes Tests.

The feat was last emulated by Australia's Glenn McGrath, who achieved it in 1997. As quoted by India Today, the 29-year-old said his body will guide the bowler during the Ashes series.

Here's what Cummins said

"That's the plan. I have done it a few times at home before, we have played five or six Test matches in five or six weeks, so it's nothing new. I'll be guided mainly by my body."

In the 2019 Ashes series in England, Australia under former coach Justin Langer managed to juggle its fast bowlers to perfection. Cummins further explained that he feels good and plans to think about one Test at a time.

"I'm feeling really good at the moment. I'll take it Test by Test, but there's 25 days of cricket left and in between that I reckon I'll be doing a lot of UberEats at (the hotel) on my bed watching golf."

In 6 Tests in England, Cummins has taken 33 wickets, which included 29 in the last Ashes series in 2019 alone.
