Owing to a final-ball thriller on Thursday evening, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a solitary run in match 50 in Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday.

Travis Head, who has been in some good form this season scored a rather slow fifty for his standards, ending with 44-ball-58 and Mohammad Kaif had a thing to say about fans and experts while comparing this knock to how Virat Kohli approaches his games and how he is being over-criticized for the strike rate.

Although Kaif only had praise for Head's innings, he called out the fans and experts treat different players differently. He said that Virat would have been criticised had he played such innings.

"Travis Head played really well in a tough situation yesterday (against Rajasthan), he scored 58 (44). But if Virat Kohli had scored the same score, I can guarantee everyone behind Virat Kohli for strike rate and say he played slow and his SR is low," said Mohammad Kaif.

Kohli, who is second on the leaderboard for most runs, has scored 500 runs in the ongoing season at a strike rate of 148, just 9 runs behind Ruturaj Gaikwad's 509 at 147. Head, on the other hand, has 395 runs to his name with a scoring rate of 194.
