After making a debut alongside other talented youngsters, Virat Kohli’s undying spirit and passion propelled him to achieve great things in cricket. Over the years, the Delhi boy has become the face of Indian cricket, making the nation proud time and again on the global stage.

His aggression has been his biggest weapon, and fans love to see his hunger on the field. In a recent interaction, former Indian cricketer Sreesanth praised Kohli’s fiery attitude, calling it his biggest strength.

Sreesanth Hails Kohli’s Aggression

Over the years, Indian cricket has seen several superstars, but only a few have come out as Virat Kohli. With time, he rose through the ranks and made himself one of the legends of the game. Amidst all his excellence and brilliance, his aggressive nature can’t be ignored. On the field, Kohli turned into a fireball, and the aggression became his biggest strength in achieving great things.

As the aggression sometimes put Kohli in front of harsh criticism, former Indian player Sreesanth backed the former Indian captain. Speaking on sports commentator Padamjit Sehrawat’s YouTube channel, Sreesanth described the former captain’s fiery attitude not as arrogance, but as pure passion for the game.

“Noting (on whether he would change anything). What other calls aggression, I call it passion. Is Virat Kohli aggressive? No. I think he is obsessed. Virat’s aggression, people say, is a lot. I would say if he reduces that aggression, he won’t be the same player,” Sreesanth said.

Sreesanth Opens Up About The Infamous Clash with Harbhajan Singh

The rift between the players is common in the cricket world. But the incident between Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh took a different turn. In 2008, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth, and their relationship was strained. In the interview, it's not only him; the unwanted incident impacted his family too.

“When I told my daughter, ‘This is Bhajji Pa, he’s played with me’, she straight away said, ‘No, no, I won’t say hi’. I couldn’t understand why. In school, there may have been the odd conversation about it,” he added.

However, being away from competitive cricket since IPL 2025, Virat Kohli is set to make his return in the ODIs. As Team India is set to face Australia in a ODI series, fans are waiting for some ‘Kohli Mania’.
