Former South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn congratulated James Anderson for his wonderful 21-year-long international career and revealed that he witnessed his iconic farewell Test at Lords in person as he couldn't miss it for the world.
James Anderson, one of the oldest serving members of the England cricket team, retired from international cricket at the age of 41. He took his hat off at Lords on Friday with 188 Test games and a record 704 wickets in red ball cricket.
Anderson had announced in advance that the series opener against West Indies at Lords will be his farewell Test and hence, ECB left no stone unturned in getting the preparations right for the iconic farewell.
