In a recent interview with Star Sports, the batter himself has revealed how he can play such a wide range of shots. The interview is a testament to the practice of making a man perfect. Nothing pays off without practice, which is exactly what the India star revealed. 

Surya is heard saying - 

"I used to practice in closed nets. But that does not give you an idea of where the ball is going in the field. So, I started calling my friends for the practice and making them stand as fielders to see where the ball is going."

"I see which shots I can play to which deliveries and how many runs I can get from them. After a shot pays off for me in practice, I do not think twice about implementing it in the matches." - the MI Star further added. 

Surya To Lead India Against England In The T20Is

Suryakumar Yadav will be next seen in action for India in the upcoming T20I series against England. Notably, SKY is currently the captain of the Indian side in the shortest format of international cricket. The first game of the India vs England T20I series will be played on 22nd January 2025 from 7:00 PM IST at the iconic Eden Gardens.
