India’s shooting star, Manu Bhaker, recently shared her dream of spending a day with some of the greatest sportspersons. 

When asked to choose, the 22-year-old shooting sensation named cricketing legends Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli as her ideal companions. Her admiration for these cricketing icons reflects her respect for their remarkable careers and achievements.

Manu Bhaker, who made history as the first Indian athlete to win two medals in a single edition of the Paris Olympics 2024, also expressed a deep appreciation for Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. 

She revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan, "Maybe I'll name a few of my favourites. Usain Bolt [Jamaican runner] is one of them-I've read his book so many times and I've known his journey as well as I've watched so many of his interviews too. And then, in India, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni sir [MS Dhoni], and Virat Kohli. It would be an honour to spend even an hour with any of them."

At the Paris Olympics, Manu clinched two bronze medals in the women's and mixed events of the 10m air pistol. Although she narrowly missed out on a third medal, finishing fourth in the women’s 25m air pistol event, her stellar performances were a highlight of the games.
