After the world saw the fire within the Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the IPL 2025, the youngster didn’t offend the world even for a single moment. In the Asia Cup Rising Stars, the youngster shattered the record book with a 32-ball hundred.

After the explosive innings, the world can’t stop talking, but Suryavanshi’s father came up with technical advice. That simple, touching father-son exchange ended up stealing everyone’s hearts.

A father’s guidance to his son melts hearts

Amidst the thrills of the ongoing India-South Africa Test series, the Indian fans are enjoying some exciting thrills as the Indian side is taking part in the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025. In India A’s clash against the UAE, Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the spotlight, lighting up the stage with a stunning, record-breaking hundred.

As the entire cricket world remained in awe of Vaibhav’s explosive knock, his father had some more advices for him. In a video released by BCCI, Suryavanshi’s father was seen giving him some technical advice regarding his innings.

In that video, his father said, “Had you played that shot a bit higher over the covers, it could’ve been a six.”

With a gentle smile, the youngster replied, “Couldn’t connect properly, the ball was slower.”

After that, Vaibhav Suryavanshi talked about his father. Though his dad congratulated him for the explosive knock, Vaibhav admitted with a smile that impressing him is never easy.

“Dad is not easily impressed. Even if I had scored 200 today, he would still feel like I could have scored more,” Vaibhav said.

While facing the United Arab Emirates in their first group stage clash, India batted first and India A batted first. While opening the innings with Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Priyansh Arya was dismissed early, but Suryavanshi set the stage on fire. Smashing a hundred in just 32 deliveries, he rewrote the cricket records. After he played an innings of 144 runs in 42 balls with 11 boundaries and 15 sixes. In the post-match video, Suryavanshi looked back on the blistering knock.

“I didn’t try to do anything extraordinary. I just back my game and work hard. If I try something too different, it will neither help me or the team. If I had batted a little longer, we could have added 20-30 runs more, and it could have been some sort of a personal record too,” he said.

After a record 148-run win in the first match, a blockbuster match is waiting for the India A side. On November 16, they will face their arch-rivals, Pakistan A, and the world is waiting for a thrilling showdown.
