India registered a historic T20 World Cup win on 29th of June at Barbados with Rohit Sharma and his boys coming out on top against Aiden Markram's South Africa. It was quite a thrilling game with the match going right down to the wire, and it was Suryakumar Yadav's catch in the final over of David Miller that changed the game completely into India's favour.

Now, Suryakumar Yadav has also reacted on his match-winning catch where he stated that he doesn't know what was going on his mind and added that all he could see was the World Cup flying away and he just latched onto it.

"I really don't know what was going through my mind. All I could see the World Cup flying away and I just latched onto it."

How Suryakumar Yadav took Miller's catch?

Talking about the catch, it was the first ball of the final over and South Africa needed 16 to win. Hardik Pandya bowled a full toss, outside off and Miller tried to power it down the ground for a six. He almost got the distance, but Surya at long off ran to his left, plucked it out of thin air, then threw it back to the playing area as he went over the ropes and then came back with calmness to grab the catch in style.

The victory took India to their second T20 World Cup title after the win in the inaugural edition, and the ICC trophy drought has also ended after 11 long years.
