10. Venkatesh Prasad

Venkatesh Prasad played 134 matches in the 1990s and picked up 163 wickets. While being on the winning side, Prasad had 83 wickets in 56 matches. He was an excellent aid to Javagal Srinath, and the duo gave some good starts to the team with the ball.

9. Craig McDermott

This Australian pacer played much less than the other names in this list. But in the 1990s, McDermott played a very effective role for his team with the ball. He picked up 113 wickets from 74 matches, and if we see his records in the winning matches, then McDermott had 82 wickets in 46 games at an average of 16.81 and a strike rate of 29.20.

8. Shaun Pollock

The South African pacer had the quality of hitting a particular line and length consistently. Shaun Pollock picked up 118 wickets in 83 matches during the 1990s. But he was very effective in the winning cause for his team. In the matches South Africa won in his presence, Shaun Pollock picked up 86 wickets in 61 games.

6. Glenn McGrath

5. Aaqib Javed

3. Allan Donald

The 'White Lightning' was one of the biggest fears of the batters during the 1990s. In 121 ODI matches during the last decade of the previous millennium, Allan Donald picked up 206 wickets. In the matches that South Africa won with Donald in the team, he picked up 144 wickets in 77 matches at an average of 18.23 and a strike rate of 28.10.


2. Wasim Akram

The ace pacer from Pakistan was ruling the ODI scene during the 1990s. Wasim Akram played 195 matches in the decade and picked up 279 wickets. In winning games, Akram picked up 177 wickets in 110 matches at an average of 19.30 and a strike rate of 31.5.
