Again, Australia Women tops the list of the highest successful run chases in ODIs played in India. In the 1st ODI held in Mumbai in 2023, Jemimah Rodrigues’ and Pooja Vastrakar’s half-centuries powered India to a strong total of 282 runs.

With Alyssa Healy dismissed on a duck, everything seemed to be going India’s way in the second inning. However, Phoebe Litchfield (78) and Ellyse Perry (75) knitted a 147-run partnership. Beth Mooney and Tahila McGrath also scored 42 and 68 runs each to accomplish the risky chase of 283 runs with ease and clinch a 6-wicket victory in 46.3 overs. This is the highest run chase ever achieved in women's ODIs played on Indian soil.
