India Women's Cricket Team has seen several players who have not just played an important role as a player but also made significant contributions as the captain of the team. 3. Anjum Chopra (458 Runs)

In this list the third-highest run-scorer as captain for India is former India batter Anjum Chopra. Throughout the course of her career, Anjum Chopra led India in 27 innings and scored 458 runs to her name.  In her career she has played for India in 127 ODIs throughout her career. She amassed a total of 2856 runs to her name at an average of 31.38 runs as well. 

2. Harmanpreet Kaur (1012* Runs)

In this list the second-highest run-scorer as captain for India in Women's ODIs is none other than Harmanpreet Kaur. She has been a remarkable captain for the India Women's and has led the team to several memorable victories. As the current skipper, in ODIs she has played 25 innings and scored 1,034 runs. 

Looking at her career, Kaur has overall played in 139 matches, and smashed 3,749 runs throughout her impressive career, with an average of 37.49. Her contributions have significantly shaped the team's performance at the international stage.

1. Mithali Raj (5319 Runs)

It would not be wrong to say that Mithali Raj is one of the cherished captains for India Women in recent times. She has the most runs as the captain of India women in ODI cricket. In her career, she has led India across 139 innings in ODIs and made 5,319 runs. 

Talking about her career, Mithali Raj has scored  7,805 runs in 232 ODIs at an average of 50.68. She has made seven hundred and 64 fifties.
