The IPL playoffs are where dreams are made, nerves are shredded, and batting lineups sometimes vanish. While the knockout stages promise high-octane cricket and heroic performances, they also expose teams to immense pressure, occasionally leading to spectacular implosions.

Forget high-scoring thrillers for a moment, let's take a look at this list which counts down the 5 lowest totals ever recorded in IPL playoff history.

5. 107/10 - KKR vs MI (2017)

Mumbai Indians booked a spot in the 2017 IPL final after hammering Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets in a low-scoring Qualifier 2 in Bengaluru. KKR were bundled out for just 107, with Karn Sharma (4/16) and Jasprit Bumrah (3/7) leading the demolition.

MI chased down the target in 14.3 overs, powered by Krunal Pandya’s unbeaten 45. The one-sided win set up a final clash with Rising Pune Supergiant.

4. 104/10 - DEC vs CSK (2010)

Chennai Super Kings secured a 38-run win over Deccan Chargers in the 2010 IPL semi-final at DY Patil Stadium. Defending a below-par total of 142/7, CSK’s bowlers, led by Doug Bollinger (4/13), dismantled the Chargers for just 104 in 19.2 overs.

Jakati took two wickets, while Ashwin and Muralidaran also struck. Earlier, Badrinath scored 37 and Dhoni added 30 to help CSK post a fighting total, setting up a place in the IPL final.

3. 101/10 - PBKS vs RCB (2025)*

Punjab Kings were bowled out for just 101 in 16.3 overs in the first Qualifier of IPL 2025 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at New Chandigarh. Despite a brisk start from Prabhsimran Singh (18 off 10), PBKS suffered a rapid collapse, losing wickets at regular intervals.

Marcus Stoinis tried to revive the innings with a 17-ball 26, but RCB's disciplined bowling attack, led by Josh Hazlewood (3 wickets) and Suyash Sharma (3/12), restricted the Kings to a below-par total. RCB now need 102 to secure a spot in the IPL 2025 Final.

2. 101/10 - LSG vs MI (2023)

Mumbai Indians stormed into the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2023 with a crushing 81-run win over Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator at Chennai. Akash Madhwal produced a magical spell, picking up 5 wickets for just 5 runs in 3.3 overs, the best bowling performance by an uncapped Indian in IPL history.

Batting first, MI posted 182/8. In reply, LSG crumbled under pressure, folding for 101 in 16.3 overs. Marcus Stoinis was the lone bright spot with a 27-ball 40. Madhwal’s brilliance, supported by run-outs and tight bowling from Jordan and Chawla, sealed the win for MI.

1. 87/10 - DD vs RR (2008)

In the 2008 IPL, Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals) were bowled out for just 87 against Rajasthan Royals, their lowest total that season. Chasing 193 in Jaipur, Delhi’s batting collapsed under pressure from Shane Warne’s side.

Only Gautam Gambhir and Tillakaratne Dilshan crossed double figures as Royals’ bowlers, led by Sohail Tanvir (3/10), ran riot. The Royals won by 105 runs, underlining their dominance in the inaugural season. This heavy defeat remains one of Delhi’s most forgettable batting performances.
