Athapaththu listed the first of her nine career hundreds back in 2011 with a 111-run knock against Ireland.

The legendary Sri Lankan left-handed batter also nearly cracked a rare double ton at one stage of her career, when she tonked an unbeaten 195* off just 139 deliveries in a high-octane run-chase against South Africa at Potchefstroom in April 2024.

English all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt has listed nine centuries from just 96 ODI innings in her career to date. While she made her ODI debut in July 2013 with a match against Pakistan Women in Louth, it took her four years to chart her maiden century in the format, doing so at the 2017 ODI Cricket World Cup. A few days later in the same tournament, Nat listed her second ODI century to play a vital role in England’s victorious World Cup campaign at home.

She reserved her magnum opus ODI performance against Ashes rivals Australia in the final of the 2022 World Cup at the Hagley Oval, where she blasted 148* from just 121 balls, albeit in a losing cause owing to lack of assistance from the other end.

The innings against Ireland marked her second 150-plus score in ODIs, and the first since making 168* against Pakistan Women at County Ground in 2016.

Remarkably, Tammy Beaumont has pounded two centuries in successive innings on two separate occasions in her career, doing so in mid-2016 to list the first two tons of her ODI career and repeating the feat in 2018 against South Africa at home.
