Rob Walter, appointed in 2023, is the current ODI and T20I coach of the South African cricket team.

Walter's extensive experience as a strength and conditioning coach and his success in domestic circuits, both in South Africa and New Zealand, provide him with a unique perspective.

His tenure began with the aim to lift South Africa’s white-ball teams to new heights. Following a disappointing miss at the ODI World Cup 2023, Walter will now focused on preparing the team for the T20 World Cup 2024.
