On Monday, the South African cricket board announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against India Men. The Proteas Men are currently in Pakistan for a multi-format bilateral series. 

Notably, their Test captain, Temba Bavuma, returns to the side after missing the recent Pakistan Test series as he recovers from a left calf strain.

The first Test is set to be played from 14 November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, before the side heads to Guwahati, where the ACA Stadium will host its maiden Test match from 22 November.

South African WTC-winning captain Temba Bavuma is set to lead the national side in the two-match Test series against India, which is set to commence on 14th November. Bavuma, who missed their Test series against Pakistan while recovering from a calf strain, is set to set back on the ground in the first-class match played between India A and South Africa A, heading into the Test against the senior team.
