Who is Yash Vagadia?
Yash Vagadia, 21, is a promising top-order batter and occasional off-spinner who represents Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Born in Newcastle, Vagadia signed a rookie contract with Yorkshire ahead of the 2023 summer after impressive performances for Durham University, where he is currently studying biology and chemistry.
The right-hander first represented Yorkshire at Under 14s level and has progressed through the age-groups and Academy. He captained the county’s Under 18s/ Academy team and helped the second team win the Championship title back in 2022 as mentioned by YorkshireCCC.
He made his List A debut in August 2024 against Warwickshire at Rugby and has featured in a total of two senior matches in his career so far. Although yet to make his first-class debut, he has been a regular presence in Yorkshire’s Second XI fixtures.
