When Shaheen Afridi Bowled An Absolute Ripper To Rattle Babar Azam’s Stumps In PSL 2023

In the PSL 2023 match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium, Shaheen Afridi, the captain of the Qalandars, bowled an absolute ripper to rattle Babar Azam's Stumps. 

The 23-year-old pacer produced an excellent new ball spell, taking two wickets in just two overs. Shaheen won the battle against his Pakistani teammate and the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam. After being hit for a boundary, Shaheen delivered a brilliant in-swinging ball that Babar failed to read, resulting in his dismissal. 


Shaheen cleaned up Babar with an absolute peach in PSL 2023

The speedster bowled one around the off-stump and Babar Azam went for a half-hearted drive. The ball swung back a bit and beat Babar all ends up. 

Babar's stumps went for a toss, and Shaheen raised his hands to celebrate in joy and gleefulness.

Shaheen Afridi ended the match with magical figures of five for 40 as Lahore Qalandars won the match by 40 runs. Chasing a mammoth target of 242, Zalmi were restricted to a total of 201/9. 

The Shaheen vs Babar battle was already creating a buzz even before the match started. And needless to say, the prominent pacer did a great job in the game and won the contest convincingly. 

It is time for the first match of the new season, with Lahore Qalandars playing against Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium on 17th February at 8:30 PM IST.
