Indian Premier League is famous for producing fixtures such as the recently concluded one between Chennai and Rajasthan at Chepauk. The game went down the wire before veteran pacer Sandeep Sharma pulled off a heist bowling against a well-set MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja. Applauding the efforts of the pacer, his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal patted Sandeep's back for bowling a tremendous last over.

Before the game went down the wire during the chase, Chahal bowled sensational, bagging figures of 2/27 in his quota of four overs. The leg-spinner was beautifully aided by Ravi Ashwin and Adam Zampa, who snapped 2/25 and 1/43, respectively.

In the post-match interview, the leggie was all praises for his spin partners.

"This is my second season with Ash Anna (Ravi Ashwin). Before that, we had played together, so we had a good bonding. Zamps (Adam Zampa) has always done well for the Australian team and was the Player of the Match in the last Australia series (vs India in India). So we share stuff amongst each other in the nets about how to bowl and talk between the match as well," said Chahal.

After bowling two successive wides and getting hit for as many sixers consecutively, Sandeep executed pinpoint yorkers and sealed the game for Rajasthan Royals.

"Self-belief is very important when Mahi bhai is batting. In the last over, Sandy (Sandeep Sharma) backed himself with his yorker and didn't concede runs," he added.

Before concluding the interview with the broadcaster, the RR tweaker mentioned how important such close wins are while competing in IPL. He further stated that at the age of 41 years, MS Dhoni is still the best finisher going around.

"Such wins impact the side. When it goes till the end, and you get to know the effort needed, especially when the best finisher (MS Dhoni) is batting, and you win against him, then it's a different momentum. Such games boost you up for the next matches."

After a three-run win over Chennai, the Royals have bagged the top spot on the points table, with CSK reeling at the fifth position.
