Jack Leach produced a ripper on day 3 of the ongoing Test between New Zealand and England to dismiss Will Young.

So far, it has been a brilliant Test match for the off-spinner, who has accounted for 5 of the 13 Kiwi wickets. New Zealand conditions are not suitable for spinners, but Leach has used his variations to perfection in the Wellington Test match.

One example of this was the ripper to dismiss Will Young in the second innings.

Throughout his short stay at the crease, Young looked uncomfortable and Leach took full advantage of it. New Zealand had just lost two wickets in quick succession, and needed Young to consolidate the innings alongside Kane Williamson.

But a lapse of concentration cost him the wicket. Coming around the wicket, Leach bowled an off-break, but Young failed to read the line of the ball. He was playing for the one coming in with the angle, but the ball gripped and spun enough to beat the outside-edge as it castles the top of off stump.

Young couldn't believe it as there was hardly any spin on offer throughout the day. Once Young departed, Williamson and Henry Nicholls steadied the ship as the home team ended day 3 on 202 for 3.
