Mumbai Indians secured a 14-run victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 25 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, catapulting themselves to the sixth spot in the points table with three wins and two defeats. The match was marked by outstanding performances from Cameron Green, who scored an impressive 64 runs, and Tilak Varma, who added a quick-fire 37 off just 17 deliveries.

However, it was Arjun Tendulkar who grabbed the headlines with a nerve-wracking final over that secured an emphatic win for his team. 

With the Sunrisers needing 20 runs off the last six deliveries, Tendulkar displayed exceptional patience, composure, and outstanding bowling skills to concede just five runs while also taking his maiden wicket in the league.

Notably, Tendulkar's spectacular performance comes on the back of a relatively limited IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders, where he bowled only two overs in the powerplay. 

However, Mumbai Indians captain, Rohit Sharma, entrusted him with the critical task of defending 20 runs in the final over against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which was a testament to the team's faith in the southpaw's burgeoning potential.

After the game, Mumbai Indians shared a video on social media, showing the young pacer practising the exact yorker that he bowled to Bhuvneshwar Kumar for his maiden wicket during one of the team's practice sessions. The video highlighted Tendulkar's unwavering dedication and commitment towards honing his craft and improving his game.

The young prodigy's outstanding performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad is sure to bolster his confidence as he continues to develop his skills as a bowling all-rounder in the highly competitive IPL.
