[Watch] Andre Russell Gives Tripathi an Animated Sendoff After Getting Hit for 4,6,4

The match-up between Kolkata's Andre Russell and Hyderabad's Rahul Tripathi has been with the former ruling over the SRH batter in the Indian Premier League. Russell has snapped the big-ticket man four times in six innings. However, the latest one was the most animated one of them all.

Tripathi welcomed the KKR all-rounder with a boundary, which later turned out to be a no-ball, and then smoked him for a couple of boundaries. With more than required coming off that over, the right-handed batter tried being fancy again but paid the price for it.

In his typical fashion, the batter went across the line in the offside before scooping Russell over the short fine leg. However, the West Indian rolled his fingers on the ball to get the better of his 'IPL bunny' Tripathi.

And the burly all-rounder celebrated the prized wicket with an over-the-top send-off by punching the air and hinting at the batter to return to the dugout.

At the moment of writing, the Sunrisers are four down in a chase of 172 runs. The scoreboard reads 69 after 9 overs, but fortunately, two of SRH's best spin-hitters - Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen - are in the middle.
