[Watch] Abdul Samad Makes Catch of the Tournament Looks Ordinary

Sunrisers Hyderabad's fielding was class apart against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, and as a result, the home team restricted the opposition to 171-9. Thanks to KKR's Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh, they scored a fighting total on a challenging track; the latter's night ended with one of the toughest, yet ordinary-looking, catches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 by Abdul Samad.

In the last over of the innings, Rinku tried smacking a low full toss off T Natarajan in the leg side but miscued a flat hit towards deep mid-wicket, where Samad rushed 15-20 yards inside and took a forward-stretched diving grab.

Samad's miraculous grab ended Rinku's stay of 35 balls at 46.

Interestingly, SRH's skipper Aiden Markram also grabbed one tough catch off his bowling in the match.

Regarding the match thus far, KKR lost three wickets early to the early burst of Marco Jansen and Kartik Tyagi, bringing Rana and Rinku to the crease. The KKR duo stretched their good form at Upal, building a remarkable partnership for the team and attacking SRH spinners.

However, Markram removed Rana, but Andre Russell and Anukul Roy played fine cameos down the order helping KKR push for a fighting total. 

Currently, both these teams are crawling low in the points table, with both of them grabbing six points each.
