Tripathi Replaces Natarajan as SRH Punch KKR with Impact Player

As Harshit Rana ended Mayank Agarwal's stay early in the innings, Sunrisers Hyderabad have opted for their Impact Player substitute, replacing Rahul Tripathi with T Natarajan against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday.

With scoring reading 29-1 in the third over, Tripathi came at one-down position in a chase of 172 runs.

Mayank, who started in a dazzling fashion, could not again big with his innings, ending his day with an 11-ball 18.

The Maharashtra batter, who was one of the few positives for the Sunrisers last season, hasn't been having a great time in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Tripathi's struggle with form in the IPL 2023 continues, after scoring a mere 190 runs in nine innings at an average of 23.75 with a strike rate of 121.02.

On Thursday, after starting off positively, the upcoming right-hander batter threw his wicket against KKR's Andre Russell after smoking him for a boundary and two biggies earlier in the over.
