Experienced Indian keeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha unleashed his ruthless best against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday afternoon, hammering a glorious knock of 81 runs off just 43 deliveries. Opening the batting alongside Shubman Gill, Saha set the tone for a mammoth score for the Titans, who eventually went on to breach the 220-run mark in 20 overs.

Following Saha's outrageous knock against the Super Giants, former Indian captain and current RCB opener Virat Kohli lauded the keeper-batter. Taking to his Instagram handle, Kohli posted a picture of Saha with the caption reading,

"What a player ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ @wriddhi"

Saha has been a force to reckon with the bat for Gujarat Titans, amassing 590 runs since joining them in the 2022 season.

He has played the aggressor's role in the power play to perfection, thereby giving enough time to his partner Shubman Gill to get his eyes in and bat for a longer period of time.

While Saha's breezy knock set the foundation for the Titans, Gill remained unbeaten on a gorgeous 51-ball 94*, including two boundaries and seven humongous sixes, ensuring a fitting finish for his side.

Chasing a whopping 228, the Super Giants are 35 for no loss in 3 overs, with Kyle Mayers and Quinton de Kock batting on 25* and 8*, respectively, at the time of writing.
