Today, IPL fanatics will witness the battle between bottom-sitters, as Delhi Capitals will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 34th group-stage game of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. As both teams languish at the bottom in the points table, they will be desperate for a win tonight.

Speaking of Delhi Capitals, Prithvi Shaw has been a massive disappointment for the franchise, managing only 47 runs at a horrendous average of 7.83. He has breached the 10-run mark only thrice across six outings, recording two ducks in this process.

So, ahead of their crucial face-off against SRH, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra expected the Capitals to drop Shaw from their playing XI, considering his abysmal current form.

"Delhi have finally won a match. They defeated Kolkata but that too with great difficulty. David Warner looked very good last time. They might turn their back on Prithvi Shaw now, that they will not play him now, that's a possibility."

The cricketer-turned-commentator also took a cheeky dig on Sunrisers Hyderabad for being unable to live up to their potential despite having assembled a great squad on paper.

"Hyderabad are coming after losing their last match and they lost the match prior to that as well at home. The team looked good on paper, but cricket is not played on paper but on the ground, and there this team is in a slightly bad situation."

The game will be played at the historic Rajiv Gandhi international stadium in Hyderabad. As both teams will be keen to secure a victory, a cracking contest between them is expected tonight.
