Ireland's Joshua Little has seized a brilliant milestone for himself after a wonderful stint in the T20 World Cup 2022. The Irish quick also scalped a brilliant hat-trick against New Zealand in the Super 12 stage of the tournament, dismissing skipper Kane Williamson, Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner and registered the figures of 3-22. He became only the second bowler to take a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup after Karthik Meiyappan.
He's also the second only Irish bowler after Curtis Campher to take a hat-trick in a T20 WC.
Little proved to be dangerous for the Kiwis in the match, although Ireland ended on the losing side, they gave a tough fight to Williamson and co.
After the pacer's brilliant performance in the first innings New Zealand posted 185/6 on the scoreboard. Ireland were unable to chase the sizeable target as they could only chase 150 at the loss of 9.
Apart from Little (3/22), Irish spinner Gareth Delany (2/30) and Mark Adair (1/39) also performed brilliantly with the ball.
