India's batting in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 has revolved around Virat Kohli and Surya Kumar Yadav. Kohli's match-winning knock against Pakistan in India's tournament opener shut down his critics altogether. Kohli scored his second fifty of the edition against the Netherlands, which also came in as a winning cause.

A rare failure saw the former India captain score 12 runs against South Africa. India takes on Bangladesh today in Adelaide which is Kohli's favourite ground in Australia.

The 33-year-old scored an unbeaten 90 in his only T20I at this ground back in 2016, apart from having five hundred + scores in Tests and ODIs, combined.

Former England spinner Graeme Swann has backed Kohli to score big against Bangladesh, given his understanding of the conditions at the Adelaide Oval.

Speaking to Star Sports, Swann said,

"I know Adelaide as a bowler. You get intimidated, it's such a good batting wicket. The square boundaries are very small, smaller than a lot of Indian grounds, tiny, but the straight boundaries are enormous. So, you desperately try and bowl straight to get the guys hit you down the ground.

But as soon as people eye those square boundaries, and Virat is a master doing that, his cover drive, and then flicking and pulling, it's a horrible place to bowl. I think Virat is going to probably score some big runs."

India take on Zimbabwe in their final Super 12 match at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 6.
