Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, MS Dhoni, has been the talk of the town in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Fans eagerly await his performances in every game, with even away venues being packed with supporters rooting for the veteran cricketer. Although speculations are rife about Dhoni's retirement after this season, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming has denied any such claims.

In the post-match press conference following the CSK vs PBKS clash, Fleming stated that Dhoni has not communicated anything about his retirement to him or the team.

"No, he hasn't indicated anything," said Fleming.

The rumours about Dhoni's retirement began after he acknowledged the crowd during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

"I will just say thanks for the support, they came in big numbers. Most of these guys will come in a KKR jersey next time. They are trying to give me a farewell, so thanks a lot to the crowd." Dhoni had also admitted that he is in the last phase of his career, while speaking to Harsha Bhogle after a match at CSK's home ground, Chepauk.

While the CSK captain is yet to make any formal announcement regarding his retirement, his fans will be rooting for him to help the team qualify for the playoffs this season. Dhoni is known for his calm demeanor on and off the field, and his contributions to Indian cricket are immeasurable.

It remains to be seen whether he will continue to play in the IPL after this season, but for now, the focus of the four-time IPL champions will be to make it to the playoffs with the guidance of their legendary captain.
