Shivam Dube Unlocks New landmark With Sparkling 50 Against Rajasthan Royals

CSK all-rounder Shivam Dube smacked 52 in his side’s uphill response against the Rajasthan Royals in match number 37 of the ongoing IPL 2023 season. The cricketer faced just 33 deliveries in the innings to notch up his sixth IPL fifty, third in succession and his eighth overall in T20 cricket.
Notably, Dube also scaled a new landmark in his career, even though his side fell 32 runs short of their target.
Shivam Dube completes century of T20 sixes
Shivam Dube launched three boundaries and four sixes before he was dismissed off the final delivery of the innings.
Remarkably, the four maximums he struck in his knock has now taken his T20 sixes tally to over 100. The cricketer now holds 101 sixes to his name, after turning up in 88 innings across his 98 T20 games.
He has hit 57 of them in IPL cricket, having made his debut in the 2019 edition of the tournament. Dube is currently enjoying the best season of his IPL career, sixes wise, as his 19 maximums so far this edition bettered his last year’s effort of 16 sixes.
The all-rounder has been one of CSK’s middle-order mainstays of the season. With three successive half-centuries, he has scored 236 runs at a staggering strike-rate of 157.33, much better than his overall T20 strike-rate of 137.
Dube will now turn up for the CSK in their subsequent fixture, i.e., a home game against Punjab Kings on April 30.
