After their agonising defeat at Dhaka, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could not have stressed more on their fielding blunders as he commented on his team's bowlers needing to produce 13-14 chances to bundle out the opposition.

Although India looked all at sea, languishing at 74/7 while chasing 145 runs, Mominul Haque dropped Ravichandran Ashwin at short leg as Bangladesh's historic Test victory against India could not be made possible.

Bangladesh being awry in the field has become a routine and as Shakib cited, the faults committed by their fielders allowed India to get back into the game in the first innings and eventually win it.

Here's what Shakib said

"It is slightly disappointing, as other teams don't miss the chances that we are missing. Those made the difference. We could have bowled them out for 250 instead of 314. There was a chance in the second innings. But it is part of cricket. We fielded well in the T20 World Cup and the ODI series (against India), but we couldn't do it in the Test match. Maybe it happens because of a lack of concentration or fitness.

"We have to find out how better to concentrate for longer, and avoid making mistakes. Other teams don't give so many opportunities. We miss regulation chances. Our bowlers have to create 13-14 chances to take ten wickets. Other teams have to create nine chances to take ten wickets."

Meanwhile, India were saved from embarrassment by the duo of Shreyas Iyer and Ashwin as their 71-run partnership won the visitors the match by three wickets.
