The classy batter from SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rahul Tripathi has achieved the massive milestone of 2000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after debuting in the season 2017. The right-hander has been a regular feature in the league as he has represented Rising Pune Supergiant, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders apart from his current team.

The Maharashtra batter took 86 matches for this feat where his strike rate has been around 140. Tripathi is known to bat consistently even for his state team as he has scored a cumulative of over 3000 runs in all T20 games he has featured in.

Coming into bat at three, the right-hander played a valiant knock of 47 runs from 29 balls with three sixes and two fours keeping his side in the game as they are chasing 215 against Rajasthan Royals.

Moreover, Tripathi has 237 runs under his belt this season from 10 games where he struck at over 125.
