Right before India's series against Bangladesh was about to begin, pace spearhead Mohammad Shami has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. The right-armer has been Men in Blue's mainstay with the ball scalping wickets at crucial stages for years.

Now, Shami recently posted on social media revealing his frustration and at the same time hope to recuperate with some positive learnings. The 32-year-old mentioned that it doesn't matter how many times he has been laid low by an injury, he has always made the comeback.

“Injury, in general, teaches you to appreciate every moment. I’ve had my share of injuries throughout my career. It’s humbling. It gives you perspective. No matter how many times I’ve been hurt, I’ve learned from that injury and come back even more stronger."

However, with him missing out young sensation Umran Malik has been called in to fill his big boots. The Jammu-born played two games during the recent series against New Zealand.

India's tour of Bangladesh begins on 4th December with three ODI's and two Tests lined up in the schedule. Further, Shami's participation in the Test series is in doubt too which could be another blow to India's World Test Championship chances.
