Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav's father, Mahadev Jadhav, went missing on Monday, which shook the Jadhav family for hours before Pune Police helped the cricketer to find in the city's Mundhwa area.

On Monday morning, Mahadev went for a walk, after which he went missing. Apparently, Jadhav's father has a condition called dementia (a general term for memory loss). The cricketer lodged a missing report at the Alankar police station after a couple of hours. Thankfully, the police finished their operation within hours, accessing the CCTV footage.

The Indian all-rounder used his social media handles to update on his father's case and thank his fans for all their wishes.

A Senior Inspector from the Mundhwa police station gave a statement to News18, saying: "His condition is fine and he has been reunited with his family."

Jadhav, who has played 73 ODIs and nine T20Is for India, was an integral part of the Indian team from 2017-19. However, Men in Blue's heart-wrenching exit from the ICC World Cup 2019 saw the all-rounder lose his spot.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old went unsold during the IPL 2022 Auction and didn't put up his name in this year's auction. Over the years, he has played for four IPL teams - Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi.
