Indian skipper Rohit Sharma had a terrible outing in the recently concluded three-match T20I series against South Africa, which the hosts won 2-1. Sharma managed just 43 runs throughout the series, which includes two ducks.

Single digits pile up for Rohit

Kagiso Rabada once again got the better of Sharma at Indore last evening, cleaning up India's captain for zero.

This was Sharma's 10th T20I career duck and his 43rd single-digit score in the format for India; the most for any batter in world cricket.

Sharma bettered former Ireland player Kevin O'Brien's tally of 42 single-digit scores, with Bangladesh's Mushfiqur Rahim coming in a close third with 40.

The top-five list concludes with Afghanistan's T20I skipper Mohammad Nabi (39) and former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi (37).

With this, Sharma became the only Indian player-captain to score two ducks in a single series and register three ducks in a single calendar year in T20Is.

Rabada, on the other hand, is now level with New Zealand's Tim Southee (11) for recording the most number of dismissals against Sharma in international cricket.
