Let's see how they perform in other foreign conditions: Imam-ul-Haq on Bazball

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan have already lost the Test series against England, with a match still to go at Karachi. The home team might have lost both matches by close margins, but Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum's newly invented Bazball approach has worked firmly for them.

Imam ul Haq, who played a handy knock at Multan, attended the media before the third and final Test of the series. While talking in the press conference, the 26-year-old batter backed Pakistan's conservative approach.

"Test cricket will die in good conditions, and you need to see that only England are playing like that (ultra aggressively)," Imam ul Haq cited.

"But when Australia toured here (to Pakistan) in March, they also struggled; their run rate was lesser than ours in some instances. Thus, England are playing cricket at a different level, and we need to credit them for that."

However, after lending compliments to Bazball, the Pakistan opener questioned the longevity of the ultra-aggressive approach by which the Stokes and McCullum-led team is playing.

"Under Joe Root's captaincy, they also struggled at Test cricket, which is why they are placed at the 6-7 spot on the WTC points table. They are also in the race for the WTC final, but they changed their approach. Let's see how long would it work for them. Let's see how they perform in other foreign conditions, plus an Ashes is coming their way."

The Karachi Test between Pakistan and England will be the hosts' last chance for redemption as another loss will see them to a first-ever whitewash in a Test series at home.
