Modern-day great Steve Smith slammed his 30th Test ton on Day 2 of the ongoing third and final Test between Australia and South Africa in Sydney, to edge past Sir Donald Bradman's tally of 29.

Smith, 33, in the post-match conference revealed that he is currently enjoying his cricket and does not know when to hang up the boots. Smith is now the joint-third highest hundred-getter for Australia alongside Matthew Hayden (30), and only behind Ricky Ponting (41) and Steve Waugh (32).

In 92 Tests, Smith has amassed 8,647 runs at an astounding average of 60.89 which include 30 hundred, 4 double tons, and 37 fifties.

As per PerthNow, the right-handed batter stated that he wants to impart knowledge to younger players with upcoming tours of India and England.

"We'll see. I'm enjoying it at the moment. I really can't say how long I'll play for. I'm not sure. I'll take it one tour at a time, just enjoy it, enjoy training and trying to get better as well. Whilst I'm doing that, I'm happy playing but I don't know how long that'll last.

For me, it's about trying to get better and try to help some of the other batters coming through. Just try and impart as much knowledge of conditions and ways to go about it."

Smith, who could surpass Steve Waugh's tally of 32 Test tons for the Baggy Greens, said that he doesn't play for records, and feels happy to see his name amongst the legends.

Australia are 475 for 4 at the end of play on Day 2, with Matthew Renshaw (5*) and Usman Khawaja (195*) unbeaten in the middle.
