Former Aussie bowler, Mitchell Johnson while commentating during the fourth Test match between India and Australia recalled the fiery exchange that took place between him and the then skipper, Virat Kohli during a Test match against Australia in 2014-15. The exchange between the two is considered to be the most memorable face-offs of all time in the history of cricket.

Appreciating Virat Kohli's aggressive stance while batting and his spirit Mitchell said:

"I always felt like he was a great player but I think the difference that I found was that he brought the fire back and he actually put it back on us. We would always be quite aggressive as Australian players but he put it back on us and that's why it probably surprised us at times," he said during his commentary.

Talking about the infamous conundrum, he described the sight when he threw the ball that missed Kohli by a whisker.

Calling it an 'an everlasting one' he said, "I think it was the first ball I bowled. I hit him on the helmet... on the badge... it was a different time. There was a bit going on with Phil Hughes' passing and that sort of shook us up. But even just after that you could see the determination on his face being struck on the helmet. "

Mitchell also added how admiring Kohli's attitude and fight to stay in the game is inspiring:

"You often look at different players across different countries and you wonder they can play for your team and Virat Kohli was one of those guys that you would have in your team."

The WTC Final between India and Australia is all set to begin from 7th June at The Oval in London. The match is set to be a nail-biting and grilling clash between the superheroes. Will this be the year India finally get to redeem itself?
