Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow turned into a battlefield when the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) met against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday. RCB prevailed over the hosts by 18 runs in a low-scoring encounter, where tempers from both sides flared up and witnessed some unpleasant scenes post the match between Virat Kohli, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Gautam Gambhir.

Kohli, known for his aggression and fierce approach on the ground, found himself in the thick of things, first with Haq in the 17th over during LSG's chase, and then with Gambhir after the customary hand-shakes.

In response to the incident, former Indian player Robin Uthappa, speaking to Jio Cinema, revealed that while he is a fan of Kohli, his celebrations are in question. Interestingly, Uthappa was present when Kohli and Gambhir blew steam against each other in the aforementioned match.

Here's what Uthappa said

“I am a big fan of Virat Kohli but not of his celebrations."

Both Kohli and Gambhir have been fined 100 percent of their match fees, while Haq has been fined 50 percent of his match fees under article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

On Tuesday, both Kohli and Haq took to their respective Instagram accounts to share cryptic quotes. Meanwhile, Gambhir is yet to share his views or opinions on the whole fiasco.

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh also expressed his views on Kohli-Gambhir spat, saying that it was not good for cricket, and both should act like brothers, having played for India and Delhi together.
