Heinrich Klaasen is causing a stir in the cricket world. The right-hander is known for his exceptional hitting skills. In the ongoing ODI series against Australia, Heinrich hammered the bowlers and played a blistering knock of 174, where he smashed 13 sixes and 13 boundaries.

Where the batters from SENA countries struggle against the wrist spin bowling, Heinrich Klaasen emerges to be the one to smash them all over the ground. A few years back, he was struggling to find a place in the eleven but now he has shown what he is capable of doing.

In a series against India in 2017, the mighty right-hander smashed five sixes against India's premier leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Yesterday, the same happened with Adam Zampa, the Australian leg-spinner, as Klaasen smashed six sixes against him.

Here's why mighty Klaasen is known as the 'Poor Man's Dhoni'

In the third T20I against India in 2017 at Centurion, Heinrich Klaasen bolted five sixes against India's premier bowler Yuzi Chahal. He smashed 69 off just 30 deliveries and helped the Proteas chase 189.

At that time, South Africa's National Academy coach, Shukri Conrad said, that Heinrich stays calm in the situation and there's very much Poor man's Dhoni about him. He also said that Klaasen works on mental game as well just like MS Dhoni does. Also, he stays calm, keeps the opposition on their toes and knows when to shift the pressure to the other side.

Going forward into the World Cup 2023, Heinrich Klaasen will be the one who can carry the Proteas single-handedly. Along with batters like Miller and De Kock, the Proteas will be a threat to many teams in the next month.
