Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. As both teams are studded with some T20 superstars, we expect a cracking on-field contest at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.

While their middle-order's vulnerability has concerned the RCB think tank, ace Mohammed Siraj's scintillating bowling form has emerged as a huge positive for the Bangalore-based franchise.

Despite his partners going for plenty on Bangalore's batting-friendly surface, Siraj has been in a league of his own, scalping 12 wickets at a stunning economy of 6.71.

Therefore, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan lauded the Hyderabad seamer ahead of RCB's crucial face-off against RR, highlighting his excellence with the ball particularly in the power play.

Here's what Pathan stated

"Mohammed Siraj has bowled excellently in the powerplay this season for RCB. He’s really making a difference for them,

"There is a big and positive difference in his bowling compared to last year. That is why his responsibility has increased, being the premier seamer in the team."

Speaking of RCB, the Faf du Plessis-led side is placed sixth in the points table with three victories in six outings.

Considering the Royals have a robust batting lineup comprising Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer, skipper Du Plessis would like a prolific performance from Siraj in today's encounter.
