Harry Brook Gets Promotion; SRH Stick With Out of Boxing Thinking

For the ongoing clash against Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad have struck with the same opening combination that they played in the last game. Despite failing thus far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, silk-stocking Harry Brook has been backed by the franchise over the likes of Abhishek Sharma.

Fortunately for SRH, Brook has finally clicked, enabling a brilliant start of 65 runs in the first six overs.

In the spellbinding partnership, the Englishman smashed a quickfire 38* runs off just 17 deliveries, which included five boundaries and two biggies. Meanwhile, he lost quick two wickets of Mayank Agarwal and Rahul Tripathi from the other end.

However, a double-wicket Andre Russell over pushed Hyderabad on the back foot.

At the time of writing, Brook is going strong with skipper Aiden Markram being on the other end. SRH are marching towards a mammoth total at Eden Gardens.
