With each passing day, we are stepping closer to the IPL mini-auction. With lots of exciting names set to go under the hammer, fans and experts have started listing the probable players each team will target in the much-awaited event.

Meanwhile, former Indian Test opener Aakash Chopra reckons that the Royal Challengers Bangalore must strengthen their bowling unit given they will play a majority of their games at the batting-friendly Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Additionally, they must buy someone as a cover for Josh Hazlewood, who will likely miss the latter half of the tournament due to Ashes preparation.

Therefore, Chopra, a former KKR player, has advised RCB to consider buying a low-budget seamer, preferably one between Reece Topley, Joshua Little, Dilshan Madushanka and Paul van Meekeren. He also thinks the Faf du Plessis-led side should buy Adam Zampa as a backup for Wanindu Hasaranga.

Here's what Chopra stated

"It can be Reece Topley, Madushanka or Joshua Little. They might need a backup for Josh Hazlewood as well because this is the Ashes year. Some people might run away in between this year. It can be Paul van Meekeren as well. This team might look towards associate nations,

"If you talk about their spin department, you can see Adam Zampa or Adil Rashid as a backup for Wanindu Hasaranga. I will go towards Zampa, they can go whichever way they want. I rate Zampa a little higher."
