As per emerging reports, Pakistan Cricket Board is planning to sack Ramiz Raja from the chairman's post. Meanwhile, Najam Sethi, who served PCB as the chairman with distinction, is set to be reappointed.

The board is dissatisfied with Raja's policies that have proved fatal for Pakistan cricket in recent times. Although the former World Cup-winner has taken some initiatives, the results have been disappointing, to say the least.

More importantly, the board is extremely unhappy with the team's performance in the Test series against England. They have already lost two matches and are on the verge of another defeat in the dead rubber in Karachi.

Furthermore, the Men in Green blew hot and cold in the T20 World Cup Down Under. Although they reached the final, they suffered a shocking defeat to Zimbabwe in the group stage.

Additionally, Raja's tenure could be termed as an infamous one for mismanagement of players, as many key members of the team, including the likes of Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi, have missed plenty of cricket due to injuries.

As it seems, considering all these facts, the PCB has decided to introduce significant changes to its management as a means for revamping it. The PCB has called a meeting today and final announcement on the matter will be disclosed in due time.
