On Wednesday, India and New Zealand will lock horns against each other in the final T20I of the ongoing three-match series.

After suffering a crushing defeat in Ranchi, India made a remarkable comeback, winning the second fixture in Lucknow by six wickets.

However, despite the win, the abysmal performance of their top order disappointed the hosts for the second consecutive time in the series.

So, former opener Aakash Chopra urged the Indian top order, particularly Rahul Tripathi, to make the chance count on Wednesday, as the Men in Blue won't play a single T20I for a long time after this game.

Here's what Chopra stated

"It is an extremely important match for Rahul Tripathi. He will definitely play at No. 3 and hopefully he will do well because the next opportunity will come after a long time. India do not have T20 matches at all."

The 45-year-old also reckoned that Hardik Pandya should use Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Mavi with the new ball.

I want Shivam Mavi to bowl with the new ball. Arshdeep Singh should bowl the first over as it is important to hit Finn Allen's pads. The remaining bowling is fine but the top three have to score runs because they have not scored too many runs however the pitches might have been."

With the series on the line, both teams will clash in the decider in Ahmedabad today.
