Aakash Chopra predicts CSK’s two overseas buys in the mini-auction

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has predicted that one of the IPL's most successful teams- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - will buy Kane Williamson and Jason Holder as their two overseas picks in the upcoming mini-auction.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra spoke about the players CSK can buy in the auction. He suggested the Yellow-brigade to secure the services of Williamson and Holder considering their extraordinary leadership skills. 

Here's what Chopra stated

"There are some overseas options available for them in the auction pool. Kane Williamson can be one such option as his playing style suits their philosophy. They can also look at Jason Holder as he is an all-rounder and a phenomenal captain. Dhoni also likes these types of players who can contribute in all departments."

CSK endured a very difficult season during the IPL 2022, finishing 9th in the points table with only four wins. 

So, ahead of IPL mini-auction, they released a number of players and will look to fill the voids in the mini-auction scheduled on December 23 in Kochi. They have INR 20.45 crores left in their purse with seven slots, including two overseas, to fill before the IPL 2023.
