Faf du Plessis Thrashes a Monstrous 115 M Maximum off Bishnoi vs LSG

While breaking the shackles against Lucknow Super Giants at Chinaswamy, Faf du Plessis smashed two consecutive maximums off Ravi Bishnoi, of which the latter one was of 115 metres. Du Plessis' shot off the leg-spinner becomes the 10th joint-longest shot hit smashed by any batter in the Indian Premier League.

The RCB captain clobbered a sixer over deep mid-wicket fence and beyond, hitting the ball out of the park.

Bishnoi went to get smacked for three maximums in the 15th over of the first innings, two of which were tonked by Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell hit one of them. 

Before the hammering against the leg-spinner, the Proteas batter struggled to get past run-a-ball at Chinaswamy; however, two big heaves of his blade changed the tempo of the whole game.

The RCB captain went to complete 300 sixers in T20 cricket. 

At the time of writing, RCB have gotten to 183/1 after 18 overs, with Du Plessis at 71* off 42, while Maxwell playing a blinder of a 22-ball 40*.
