Coming after a long hiatus of about 18 months, English express pacer Jofra Archer is getting ready for the hectic summer with Ashes and World Cup lined up. However, in the current series against Bangladesh, he wasn't at his best as confessed by England's white-ball coach Matthew Mott.

Mott revealed that he is still not being able to fire as well as they would have liked but the preparation is on with the right-armer ticking all the right boxes. He further mentioned that Archer is focusing on the process before the big-ticket events later this year.

Moreover, Matthew mentioned that they are looking to manage his workload effectively as per the advice received from the doctors.

"He is a box office player. He has fitted back into the group beautifully and it is an incredible effort for a fast bowler to be out for that long and come back and play as he has done. He would admit that he is not fully firing on all cylinders. You can just see he is ticking all the boxes to get back to his best,

"He just seems to be really slowly, strategically just making sure he is doing it right and ticking over and come the Ashes, come the World Cup, I am sure you will see him back to his best."

This comes after Archer played in two games from the three ODIs played against Bangladesh where he picked up five wickets and will now be hoping to showcase his magic when the sides meet for the three-match T20I series beginning on 9th of March.

Apart from playing for his national side, the Barbados-born will be plying his trade for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL beginning on 31st March.
