In what comes as a massive news for the Mumbai Indians franchise and its fans, English pace spearhead Jofra Archer will be available for the entire season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This news comes after it was found that Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be missing the entire season after another injury surfaced and if reports are to be believed he would be undergoing surgery on his back.

Archer's workload will be managed by his home board England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) through remote purposes which means they would be in regular touch with his franchise throughout the season making sure that he remains fit. This could mean that he might be asked not to play many matches on the trot.

Further, they could ask him not to over-exert himself during practice sessions ensuring he bowls a certain number of balls in a go.

The ECB source confirmed the news saying that

"He should be able to play a full part in the IPL and as always his franchisee and the ECB will manage his workload."

Moreover, the BCCI source also reminded about Archer's availability as he featured in the first ODI against Bangladesh.

"Jofra is very much available, have you not seen him in action in the Dhaka ODI."

It is to be noted that the Barbados-born was out of action for close to 18 months before making his comeback in the SA20 league earlier this year.

In the ongoing match between England and Bangladesh, Archer picked up two wickets for 37 runs after the end of 10 overs.
